Title Scene
A lot of the inspiration for the titles/credits came from the film 'Se7en' and the tv show 'American Horror Story'. I absolutely love the grunge/worn effects both titles have on them creating a very dark and weary effect. Also how both titles have small little animations that last for split seconds like the text reversing on 'se7en' or the short cuts to dead animals and old photos of people in 'American Horror Story'.
The inspiration for the action scene came from the film 'kick-ass'. When they are being tortured near the end of the movie, the way they shot all the punches in quick first person captured my attention fully. From then on whenever I make action scenes I love to use the camera as the "head" of the person being hit. Also I love to use camera distortion like motion blur and shake. Adding all the effects such as direction blur on Premiere Pro really adds up to create a really good looking action scene.
