For my research i made a questionnaire and sent it to 30 people I know. When getting the questionnaires back I asked if they would be anonymous and not put their name on it. After I collected all the results I typed them into an excel document and made some graphs to show my answers.
How often do you watch thrillers? This was surprising as I thought more would watch them every week.
What gender best supports a thriller movie? I wasn't surprised with this most thrillers have a heavy male cast (with a few exceptions like Silence of the lambs).
I asked people what age range they think thriller movies are aimed at. I was surprised to see most people think they are aimed at everyone i personally think that the 15-25 is the age range they are aimed at.
The majority of peoples favourite part of thriller movies are the plot twists and the story. I personally relate to this as I love plot twists in films such as The Shawshank Redemption and Shutter Island where plot twists catch you really off guard.
Doing this questionnaire I have gained valuable knowledge when coming to make our thriller.
