Timetable/schedule for filming and editing.

This was our timetable for filming and editing. As you can see the dates are very close together, this is because originally we filmed a different idea. However, it was only until the end that we decided it wasn’t good enough and changed our idea. This was a group decisions and was crucial that everybody was on board as we didn’t have much time to film our second idea; this is resembled by how close the dates are together in the timetable. Also, unlike our previous idea we had to fully commit to this timetable as we didn’t have much time to re-film and edit. Due to this we sat down as a group and discussed when we were all free and even used part of our lessons to film. Even though we were on a very tight schedule, this timetable was very important and was a must do thing as it enabled and encouraged our group to finish the filming. Overall, even with the short amount of time we were very pleased with our second opening and was definitely an improvement from the first opening sequence that we filmed.
We used a Facebook group chat to keep in touch whilst we were out of school. This was convenient as we all use our phones regularly. We used this chat to arrange times for filming, remind each other to bring things to school such as camera equipment, discus changes to our film and to make sure we were all able to film incase something comes up which stops one of our group members from coming. We also used the chat to send photos and links to useful resorces for our blogs as its quicker and easier to send pictures and links through messenger than through an alternative such as email. When we had done work in class such as drawing storyboards or writing synopsis it was easy to send them to each other so we all had a copy digitally not physically in case something happened or we needed it for our blog. Making sure there was an easy access for communicating with each other was key for making our thriller opening.
Ultimately we found keeping in contact regularly helped a lot as we needed to contact each other more than expected to discus certain things about our thriller (e.g title). Also planning certain times made sure we were organized and well prepared for filming, which made a huge difference.
